Inspired By Her

Steven Shomler and KC Shomler, AKA Diana Prince, had their first ever date at a dive bar in Vancouver, Washington. He loved that she she likes dive bars almost as much as he does.

Almost immediately, the idea for this project began rattling around in Steven’s head and exactly 8 days later he bought the domain PortlandDiveBars.com

On the eve of their one-month anniversary, Steven and KC had a very meaningful date at yet another Portland dive bar. Right there during that date (which was going very well) Steven decided that he should turn Portland Dive Bars into a real project.  And his partner in love would be his partner on this labour of love as well.

Fast forward to January 2019 – Steven and KC are engaged and thoroughly enjoying doing this project together.

Update – Steven and KC were married on Feb 11, 2019 in Stevenson, WA at the courthouse and their wedding took place on June 20, 2019 at a lovely wine cave in Lake Chelan, WA.

Immediately following their wedding and wedding dinner, Steven and KC went to a local dive bar in Lake Chelan to celebrate. In their wedding clothes. How fitting!
